Small Bar Lock with Flip Closure - Emmaline Bags

A beautiful finish to the finished edge of the front flap of your clutch or purse. These flip locks provide a secure closure. 

These are not very deep inside, most suitable for flaps with a maximum of 3mm or 1/8" thickness. 

Very pretty and very easy to install!  Available in 5 colours

Bag stabilizer, such as Peltex, is recommended inside your front flap for strength. 

Measurements: Width 2 3/8" (6 cm) x Height 3/8" (1 cm)

Installation Instructions

1. Position the Bar Lock over the finished edge of a bag flap or strap closure and a removable pen/marker/chalk to mark cutting holes. You can notch out the hole for the flip closure completely, but I would use a leather punch or awl to cut out the holes for the screws.
2. Use clear-drying fast grab glue such as Beacon 3-in-1, E-6000 or Gutterman glue on both pieces so that they stay in place. 
3. Use a mini screwdriver to screw in the 2 provided screws. 
4. Simply attach the flip part on the bag front using the provided washer, using the same technique as you would for any magnetic snap.
