Shipping policy

Ordering & Shipping Updates

  • Stock Availability: If an item shows "Add to Cart," it is currently in stock and available to order. Please note that our seasonal Project Boxes are limited releases and may sell out quickly or ship at a later specified date.
  • Fair Shipping Guarantee: We keep our shipping costs honest! If your order fits into a smaller package and the actual shipping cost ends up being more than $2.00 cheaper than what you were charged, we will automatically refund you the difference.

Timely Dispatch

  • Standard Orders: Placed Monday to Thursday before 5 pm will be dispatched within 1–2 working days.
  • End-of-Week Orders: Placed from Friday through Sunday will be dispatched on Monday (subject to order volume).
  • Public Holidays: Where a dispatch date falls on a public holiday and local holidays, orders will be dispatched the next working day.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

  • Standard Urban Delivery ($6.90 flat rate): Dispatched via NZ Post, Post Haste, or Pass the Parcel. Delivery typically takes 3–5 working days from dispatch.
  • Rural Delivery (From $10.90): Dispatched via NZ Post or Pass the Parcel.
  • Oversized Parcels: Dispatched using the best available courier service. Additional freight charges may apply for exceptionally large items.

Important Shipping Notes

  • No Signature Required: Parcels are sent without a signature. If a package doesn't fit in your mailbox and you have an "Authority to Leave" set up with NZ Post, it will be left in your designated safe area.
  • Rural Address Accuracy: You must select the Rural Delivery option if you live rurally. If the incorrect shipping option is chosen at checkout, we will contact you with an invoice for the balance before your order can be dispatched.

PO Boxes

  • If you have ordered stabilizer or a large quantity of items, please ensure you select the NZ Post option at checkout, as other couriers cannot deliver these larger items to PO Boxes.

The Shipping Process

  • Order Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your payment is processed.
  • Tracking Info: Once dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link via email. Please note it can take a few hours for the tracking link to become active. Tracking link may be sent directly from the courier.
  • Delivery Delays: If your order hasn't arrived within the expected timeframe, please email us at info@kiwibagineers.co.nz. (Please note: NZ Post will not open an investigation until 5 working days have passed).

International Shipping

We currently do not offer international shipping, with the exception of our seasonal Project Boxes. If you are overseas, please get in touch and we will gladly help you find a local supplier for your hardware!
