Top 10 Free Bag Sewing Patterns Tried and Tested

Lost your bag making Mojo? New to bags and don't know where to start? Or simply don't know what to try next?
I recently posed the question on various Facebook groups:

"What is your favourite free bag pattern

and why do you love it?"

Anyone who starts sewing bags knows how addictive it is. You also soon learn that it can be expensive. Most of us have quite a stash of fabric that screamed "Buy Me!" as we passed. I just had my second C vaccination and the centre was right next door to Lincraft, where there was a sale........well, it would have been rude not to go in. :)

So here are the Top Ten, results from my recent survey. Some pictures will be added later when as I get permission to post.

The comments are from various sources I canvassed, not necessarily from the sewists credited.

So, choose a bag and pick something from your stash and feel good about sewing. It's almost like eating left-overs - self-righteousness rules :)

Once you've made one. please add your own comments and upload a photo for others to check out.
