Bag-Making Fabric
Custom printed bonded nylon fabrics with a firm twill finish and bonded knit backing for added body, structure, and stability while still being far easier to sew than heavier structured materials.
Suitable for both bag exteriors and linings, this base is ideal when you want a cleaner, more structured finish without needing lots of additional interfacing.
Sold by the ½ metre- Approx. 145cm wide

About the Fabric
• 290gsm bonded with twill finish

Sewing Recommendations
When sewing bonded or quilted fabrics we recommend:
• Using a smaller needle than you would for vinyl or very firm materials
• Reducing tension if required
• Pressing from the back only using a nylon/synthetic heat setting
Soft available click here: A 193gsm fabric with a knit bonded to the back of it. It’s much softer to the touch and has a finer weave. It could be interfaced for a more structured look if required (I'm planning to order some to make a trench coat for myself) perfect for smaller bags, linings etc.
