This quality comfortable ballpoint stiletto awl is ideal for holding layers of fabric together in place when sewing difficult seams on your bag.
Particularly useful when seeing curved bag gusset seams. As you remove your clips you can hold the seam firmly together right up and past the needle without having to worry about making a hole in your fabric.
The ballpoint of this awl was originally designed for working holes in woven fabrics without breaking the threads.
